Menominee River Float Trips

Saturday, July 9, 2011 Saturday, July 16, 2011 Saturday, August 6, 2011*   Float Trip starts at 11:00 AM. We meet at the Town of Wausaukee Boat Landing* and float down the Menominee River to Bear Point. Bring your own flotation device. All ages are welcome but an adult must accompany children under the age of 18. Life jackets are a state law requirement! *The float trip on August 6 will meet 2 miles west of Bear Point just off of Hwy 180 (about 3/4 miles shorter than the usual trip). Those wanting a longer float can start at the Boat Landing if they wish. Party to follow at Bear Point Yacht Club at 3:00 PM. You may bring a dish to pass if you wish. Don't miss our Annual Sturgeon Contest running the first Saturday in September to September 30th. All entries must be sixty inches or longer. The Menominee River is the Hook & Line sturgeon fishing capital of Wisconsin!
